Make an Appointment

Our receptionistPlease call 905-731-1991 or e-mail us at staff@promotionphysiotherapy.com. Many people call us to discuss their injury or condition prior to making an appointment. If you would like to speak to a Physiotherapist, please let us know and we will have a Physiotherapist call you.

Patients do not need a doctor’s referral to be seen by a Physiotherapist. However, many insurance companies still require a doctor’s referral for re-imbursement.

We Are Open

Payment Options

Our fees are based on the services provided. For your convenience we accept Visa, Mastercard and debit cards.

Private Coverage

Many of our patients have private physiotherapy, massage therapy and/or acupuncture coverage. You will want to check with your insurer regarding what your coverage is as there may be a maximum per visit, maximum per year, co-payment or other requirement. The extent of your coverage depends on the insurance you or your employer has purchased. If you do not have coverage, we can provide you with a receipt that you may be able to use as an income tax deduction.

WSIB

If your claim has been approved, we are able to bill WSIB directly for your physiotherapy and/or acupuncture treatment.

MVA Insurance

If you would like us to bill your automobile insurance company, please let us know.

Your First Appointment

We request that you come about 15 minutes prior to your appointment with the Physiotherapist in order to complete required paperwork. You may speed this process by downloading the medical questionnaire, demographic information and privacy policy documents from our contact page and bringing the completed forms with you. If you are involved in a motor vehicle accident or work injury, there is additional paperwork for you to complete.

Your first appointment will consist of the assessment by a Registered Physiotherapist. Your medical history will be reviewed as well as the history about your injury or condition. The Physiotherapist will assess the painful area(s) and will discuss the treatment recommendations.

Treatment will start on the first appointment unless the assessment has been unusually complicated and the full time is needed for the assessment.

Please ask any questions at any time during your visit.
