Welcome to the newest members of our team: Physiotherapists Tova Steinfeld and Tiffaney Marlow, Registered Massage Therapist Natasha Ianovsky, and our Physiotherapy Assistant Plarent Ballkaniku.

Bonny O'Hare has been asked by Osteoporosis Canada to be the co-instructor for Bone Fit: An Advanced Training Workshop for Health and Exercise Professionals. Bonny will be travelling to British Columbia in July for the National Launch of this program at the Canadian Physiotherapy Congress in Whistler B.C.

Congratulations to two of our volunteers: Alanna and Leah who have been accepted into the Master's Physical Therapy program at the University of Toronto. We are very proud of you!

Pro Motion Physiotherapy will be hosting BoneFit on Saturday April 1 and Sunday April 2, 2011. This course is for Physiotherapists, Kinesiologists and Exercise Physiologists who work with people who have osteoporosis. Go to www.bonefit.ca for more information

In celebration of Osteoporosis Month, we are hosting complimentary seminars entitled "Bone Up On Osteoporosis."

Congratulations and Best Wishes went to Gail Melamed as we celebrated her 20th year at Pro Motion! Present and past staff gathered at the Sheraton Hotel to honor Gail and her 20 years of caring for patients and sharing her experience with other clinicians. We were so pleased that her mother was able to come from overseas to join Gail and her husband as we happily marked this event! Thank you Gail and we look forward to many more years of working together!

In other news this summer, Pro Motion Physiotherapy Director Bonny O'Hare was nominated to the Board of Directors of The Robin McKenzie Institute Canada.

In response to the disaster in Haiti, Pro Motion Physiotherapy donated 10% of the Physiotherapy and Massage Therapy fees on January 14th and 15th to the disaster relief.
